Yesterday we had all of our family over to celebrate Cody's birthday. It was so much fun. Cody loves his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas and grandpas so much that we didn't really even need to have cake and presents. He was just so excited to see them. We also had Uncle Mike, Auntie Denise and Wesley join us since they were going to be out of town for Cody's friend party. I had a lot of fun getting things ready for the party. I made cupcakes, cake pops, crayons, chocolate, lots of crafty stuff. At one point Kevin said does everyone spend this much time preparing for their kids third birthday party. I said no but I am having so much fun! We let the kids play a little, then we had a yummy dinner of pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, beans, watermelon, and chips. Kevin smoked the pork on his new smoker all night long. We almost thought it was ruined when he got up in the morning to look at it. It was all charcoal on the outside, but it was perfect in the middle. We did cake and presents and that was it. It was a lovely afternoon. Thanks to everyone who helped make Cody's day so special. We didn't take tons of pictures but here are a few of my favorites.

The goodie bags for the kids.
Birthday banners that I made.
The birthday table, lemon fish cake pops and vanilla cupcakes. Yummy!
Couldn't get Eva to look up, but I still think it is a cute picture.
We have been practicing flashing the three sign.
What a ham, right before we sang to him.
Playing some b-ball in the yard.
Showing his awesome new race track from
Uncle Kyle and Auntie Rochelle to Wes.
Present time! He opened each card, so cute. He also
did a great job giving hugs and thanking everyone.
Trying out his new scooter in the front yard.
Thanks Mimi and Poppy!
Their dads love to BBQ so we are starting them out young.
Thanks Grammy and Grampy!
